Update - received a response from the owner to address my previous review below and I’m blown away by the humility and care in that gesture. Sounds like the kid friendly patio will be re-opening soon after a cumbersome permit process with the city and I couldn’t be more excited to park our stroller next to table! This is truly a gem in the local food scene of Falls Church. We find the food quality and flavor top notch, and the beer selection is amazing. The bottle shop downstairs is great and the butcher next door is worth stopping by as well.

Old review: This used to be our all time favorite place in the neighborhood. There was an amazing beer selection with outdoor seating that was kid friendly - it was great and we went all the time.
Really sad they don’t have the beer garden anymore. The alternative location of Stratford just isn’t on par for the beer selection and the food quality doesn’t compare. The vibes inside aren’t really kid friendly so we’ve tried doing takeout but that has been a bust - items on third party sites seem very limited or don’t match the online menu and when we call to order directly we’ve experienced being told items are sold out or can’t be prepared for take out. They’ve also stopped serving several things we really liked. Bummer. Sad that what was a usual haunt for us has become a non-option.
We do still frequent it to purchase wine and beer and the selection there remains great.

**this review is for the restaurant only, not the beer and wine store on the first floor** Used to come here for the outside beer garden but it closed because they opened Stratford Garden. Went to the bar today for drinks around 3pm. Sat at two empty spots at the bar, two bartenders working, maybe 2-3 tables had people. We were handed menus when we sat down.

After getting the menus, we waited not less than ten minutes to order a beer, my husband even spoke politely to one of the two bartenders in hopes of ordering. At no time did they acknowledge us at all. A party of three gentlemen sat behind us along the wall and immediately were helped and served. We waited further to see if we would be helped but alas the second bartender asked the three new gentlemen what they’d like. We just left. I’ve worked service industry plenty myself; there does reach a threshold where it gets difficult to tell whether such things are intentional. Probably won’t be back after today despite frequent visits before. Love the beer and wine store below.

This is a great and wonderful place to stop off at if you have not been here then you must come. This part of Falls Church Va is changing for the best. With new apartment and new store fronts and new bakery across the street. You have to stop off at the wine and beer store and why you're at it it go upstairs to the restaurant and Dominion restaurant has 31 beers on tap and they also add there own fresh meat called butcher block. Come on out at take a walk around.

There’s a good selection of beers and wines here. I came for their happy hour deal which runs Monday-Friday from 4-6pm. It wasn’t crowded when I arrived around 5pm but was getting packed towards 7pm. Servers were still attentive to us though. I liked their cocktails. Their chicken sliders were also crispy and had a decent amount of chicken contained in it. However, their chicken sliders weren’t very flavorful. I was hoping for a sauce that has more of a kick.

The staff is amazing and very creative Let’s go ‘Texas Roadhouse’ style and let the customers choose their steak from Brickhouse Butcher’ next door and have it cooked to their preference. I guarantee it will manifest a positive outcome. God speed.

What a great find! Came across this great wine and beer bar. Great selection of beers and some lovely wines. Food was delicious! Tucked away in Falls Church, the Bar at Dominion is on the floor above Dominion Wine and Beer. Access through the shop or from the back. Great service too!

This was my first time at Dominion Beer and Wine, and I was really impressed! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, ready to help me find exactly what I was looking for (and even made some great recommendations). The selection is fantastic, a great mix of local craft beer.

I've given up on drinking alcohol. It's not forever but I have to tell you it's tempting. It's just amazing to see all of the different beers and wine. I love the tastes of beer and IPA. WOW. the location is off of route 7 near Taco bell. This area has changed. Plus they have the fresh meat cutter.

Great spot with a solid selection of beers and wines. Food is tasty, especially the sandwiches and brunch. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Worth checking out, though it can get busy on weekends.

I really like this place, but the acoustics are horrible especially when there are large parties at table. Impacts everyone in entire restaurant! Decibel levels exceed safety threshold😳!

We love, Dominion Wine And Beer! The staff are always friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable . We are regulars and we're always greeted with such warmth and kindness! Bevies and food is always excellent...BUT.... Even though I've given a five star review, I must say...please stop messing with the Pomme Frites! Please go back to the original recipe! Crispy/Belgian style! I don't think using beef tallow is doing anything for them! I am certain if you did a survey with your regular customers they'd all say the same thing!!
Love Dominion ...we will be back, but I don't think I'll be ordering the Pommes Frites anytime soon 😞

Nice little bar/restaurant with a beer 🍺 and wine 🍷 shop right below. The taps are all high quality, craft beers. And the shop below has a great variety of wines 🍷 and craft beers 🍻. Especially if you're an IPA fan. 👍🏽💯🍷🍺😎

Finally stayed to eat here after years of always grabbing beer to go.

The upstairs is a whole other world, very formal dining room feel with a laid back (but also somehow elevated) menu. The food was great and the beer menu is huuuuuge.

A helpful tip, so you don't wander around lost like I did, the bathrooms are above the dining room accessed from stairs in the back of the dining area.

Only gripe is that I wish they had a slightly bigger dessert menu but the ice cream sandwich slices were delicious.

Not a beer person, or at least I wasn’t. The menu is awesome, a brief description, and the ability to order 4oz flights. Simple, yet genius. Tried four different beers (photo of flight numbers and beer menu attached). Food was great (had the pretzel and cheesesteak w/peppers). Good atmosphere, and staff. Really great spot for a chill evening, or catching a game, or just some great food.
