I got several great haircuts from Simo. I followed him there from his old location where he had been my Barber for many years.
They don't advertise nor post a phone number on their web page. All appointments are through their web page at specific times. They have elaborate guidelines about being early for your appointment.
So I was there 15 minutes early as requested and discovered they were closed for lunch from 1 to 2 pm. My appointment was for 2 pm. The doors were locked and I found myself out in the 98° heat.
When the Boss arrived at 1:59 pm he asked how I was so I told him I was frustrated with heat and that the Web page and subsequent electronic reminder didn't recognize that I didn't need to arrive early. (He asked me and I replied without cursing.)
After the door was unlocked I went inside the nicely cooled shop and sat down to wait for my Barber.
The Boss didn't say he was sorry to defuse the citation. He said it was my barber's responsibility. After a moment or two he was staring at me and I asked if he wanted to get anything else off his chest. He pushed the front door open for me to leave and told me to tell my friends about it.
I can take my $40 business elsewhere.
I hope others will have a better experience.

Found my new barbershop (thanks Reddit NOVA community!).

Just left with a great skin fade by Simo. He listened to what I wanted, agreed and confirmed my request. Super pleased and happy with the haircut and know I’ll be a regular here.

Simo has been cutting my hair for almost 20 years. He recently moved over from a barber in McLean to The Neighborhood Barbershop in Falls Church. I went last Saturday to get my haircut by him and I'm glad he moved over to this place. Cool vibe, greeted by Dustin the owner on the way in and thanked on the way out. I'm sure when word gets out that Simo is there many of his faithful customers will migrate over. They will be glad they did.

I have been here to see Ivan a number of times for a legit cut. Showed him the requested haircut and he has nailed it every time. Everyone here seems really great, and this place is just dope. It's always a good sign when walk-ins are tough to get - go see Ivan!

Been getting my haircut in Leesburg for many years due to living there and was nervous to try a new place. Was recommended to try this barbershop and was not dissapointed. I tried Ivan out, and he nailed it. Took his time, made sure everything was how I wanted. I will be using Ivan from here on.

Honestly, I had a great haircut and the staff was friendly. But the price was a little too steep for the cut, my barber got lost in side conversations with others in the shop that made the appointment go far too long, and there was too much political talk.

Pretty happy with my first hair cut here. Had to wait almost 15 minutes past my appointment time which is always rough for me as I squeeze these in before work. But overall the shop vibe is great and parking is easy.

After years of getting his hair cut at other local, popular barber shops and always walking out with the same “little boy cut” despite what we described or what pictures we showed, our ten year old son recently expressed an interest in checking out a different barber shop that was more his vibe (the place that we went to previously kept asking him if he wanted Paw Patrol or Peppa Pig?!) and would give him a more stylish cut.

Dustin greeted us at the door with a friendly smile and my son warmed up to him right away. He loved the shop and the music, he got the exact haircut he asked for, and he walked out of the shop absolutely loving his hair! We will definitely be back!
